Determining the nicotine salt content in disposable e-cigarettes

Nicotine salt content in e-cigarettes is usually expressed as a percentage or milligrams per milliliter (mg/ml). A 3% nicotine salt content corresponds to approximately 30 milligrams of nicotine per milliliter of e-liquid. In common e-liquids, nicotine content is generally between 0-50 mg/ml, also expressed as a percentage. Therefore, a 3% nicotine salt content is considered normal.

To more intuitively understand the levels of nicotine salt content, commercially available e-liquids can be categorized into four safe standard concentrations: 0mg (no), 6mg (low), 12mg (medium), and 18mg (high). (Note that mg here refers to milligrams of nicotine per milliliter of e-liquid, not a percentage). However, these standard concentrations are not entirely applicable to nicotine salt e-liquids, as they can contain higher levels of nicotine with relatively lower irritation. Nevertheless, generally speaking, a 3% nicotine salt content can still be considered a normal, moderate level.
